Abstract

This is an extension activity, interdisciplinary and inseparable from research that aims to identify the location of indigenous peoples who lived or live in Brazil and adjacent regions. We will support the movement of rivers. As a start, the reported activity focuses on the Corumbataí River, in a small region in the interior of the state of São Paulo, aiming to develop and test methodological strategies to collect information and produce teaching material. We start from reports from living memory people with information about an indigenous way in the region. We relate it to the idea of imagetic-affective mapping. This is a basis for a theory-practice.
